Tandy Leather Factory to Open Two Retail Stores in January 2007 |
FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 2006--Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. (AMEX: TLF) announced today that it plans to open Tandy Leather retail stores in Boston (Chelmsford), MA and Allentown, PA. These are the first of twelve planned store openings in 2007 and bring the number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 64. The Boston store will be located at 83 Parkhurst Road in Chelmsford. The Allentown store will be located at 1115 Union Boulevard. Both stores will open on January 2.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Wray Thompson, commented, "We're getting off to a good start with our planned store openings for 2007. We believe we will do well in these new markets as we already have a good customer base there. Tony Hernandez, a manager trainee for the past twelve months in our Charlotte, NC store, has been promoted to manager of the Boston store. Jeffrey Oakford, who has been training in our Austin store for nine months, will be running the Allentown store."
