FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2003--The Leather Factory, Inc. (AMEX:TLF) today announced that its Tandy Leather subsidiary has opened a new retail store in Kansas City, Missouri. The 2,000 square foot store is located at 8668 East 63rd Street.
Wray Thompson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Leather Factory, Inc. commented, "This is the 20th Tandy store we have opened in the last sixteen months and the sixth store opened in 2003. Jim Brazeal will be the store manager. He's a seasoned veteran in the Tandy system having managed stores for more than nine years."
