FORT WORTH, Texas, Mar 26, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Leather Factory, Inc. (AMEX:TLF) announced today that its subsidiary, Tandy Leather Company, has opened retail stores in Orange County (Fountain Valley), Calif., and Atlanta.
These new stores will increase the number of Tandy Leather stores opened in the United States during 2003 to five for a total of 19 nationwide.
Wray Thompson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Leather Factory, Inc. commented, "The Tandy Leather stores continue to perform well and with these two new stores, we are slightly ahead of our schedule for opening approximately 12 new stores in 2003. We have hired Rosie Shores to manage the Orange County store. She has over 9 years of experience managing several Tandy stores in the Los Angeles area.
